History: In 1973, Michael Kerry picked up his saw and hammer and begin to build beautiful things out of wood. From furniture and cabinets to houses he used his woodworking ability. In 1995, he built his first guitar, which now has become his passion.
I’ve always thought that wood was one of God’s best creations. Wood is like people in that each piece is so unique and different from the next. From the way it looks, to what it can do, from the weak to the strong. To me the most amazing thing that has been done with wood is that it was it was a wooden cross that our Heavenly Father chose to sacrifice His precious Son upon for you and for me. You can take wood and build a guitar that makes beautiful music to lift a trouble soul, touch the hearts of many, or just express the joy we experience because of what was done on that cross. Most of us live our lives in houses made of wood and some even when life is over, make their final journey in wood. I hand pick each piece of wood for its beauty and best quality of sound and put forth my best effort to build you a guitar of lasting beauty and quality. I hope my guitars bring you joy and happiness each time it’s played – I build each one with that desire for you.
